Porcelain Smile Chp: 1. Golden curls fell down onto her shoulders and down her back; it bounced with each step she took. Clutching her backpack straps as she walked down the street on her way home, she hummed a gentle tune quietly keeping to herself as people passed by. They didn’t take much notice of the young girl as they passed, for which she was happy they didn’t. It made her more comfortable of being out alone, though she still took caution being by herself.
She giggled and started to skip when she saw she was nearing the doll shop she always stopped at before going home from school. The little shop came into view as she hurried along down the sidewalk. It was a beautiful sort of shop with an enormous window in the front featuring little trinkets, clothes, and the dolls neatly placed there. The window had gold and silver trimming, with light laced curtains. With a window as beautifully decorated it made her dream of own a doll from the shop.
